Privacy Policy

Aroway is operated by FX Fitness LLC ("we", "us"). Here's what we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and how to get it deleted. Plain English, no tricks.
The short version
- We collect what you give us so we can coach you.
- We never sell your information, and we don't use your health data for ads.
- A few companies help us run Aroway: Google, Stripe, Netlify and Kit.

- Aroway is coaching, not medical care, and it is not a HIPAA covered entity.
What we collect
- Contact info: your name, email and phone number.
- Health and wellness info you choose to share: your weight and goals, the GLP-1s, peptides, hormone therapy (like TRT or HRT) or other medications you tell us you're on, food and water logs, training, how you're feeling, and your daily check-ins. If you share wearable data or screenshots (for example Whoop, Oura, Apple Health or Garmin), we get what you share. We don't ask for lab results, and if you share them we won't interpret them.
- Payment info: Stripe handles your card. We see things like your name, email, billing address, plan and payment status. We never see or store your full card number.
- Basic site info: our host and font provider may log standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type when you visit aroway.app. If you arrive from one of our posts, the link may carry a campaign tag (like "instagram") that we pass to checkout so we know which post brought you in. It doesn't identify you personally.
Why we collect it
- To coach you: set your protein, water and food targets, run your daily check-ins, and build your strength plan.
- To keep a record of your daily check-ins, like protein days hit and missed-target streaks, so your progress can be tracked over time.
- To bill you and manage your membership.
- To contact you about your membership by email or text. You can reply STOP to texts anytime.
- To improve Aroway, for example by looking at what's working across founders.
Who processes it
We share data only with the service providers that help us run Aroway, or when the law requires it.
- Google (Google Forms, Google Sheets and Gemini). Your check-ins and intake answers are stored in Google Forms and Sheets that we control. Your Aroway coach runs as a Gemini Gem in your own Google account, so your chats with it are also covered by Google's privacy policy and your Gemini settings. We can't see your chats with the coach. We only see what you send us, like your daily check-in form answers and the check-in block you paste into it.
- Stripe processes payments and runs the billing page where you update your card or cancel. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Netlify hosts aroway.app and receives the waitlist form. See Netlify's privacy policy.
- Kit We send emails through Kit (ConvertKit), our email service provider. Kit stores the details you give us (name, email, phone, your goal and whether you use a GLP-1 or similar medication) plus how you found us, only so we can send relevant messages. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email.
We never sell your data
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don't share your health information with advertisers.
Not medical care, not HIPAA
Aroway is nutrition, fitness and accountability coaching. It is not medical care, and we are not a healthcare provider, health plan or other HIPAA "covered entity," so HIPAA doesn't apply to Aroway. We still treat your health information as sensitive and use it only to coach you. We never prescribe, recommend or adjust medications, peptides, hormones or doses, and we don't interpret lab results. Talk to your prescriber about those.
Deleting or getting a copy of your data
Email aroway.coach@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your data, send you a copy, or fix something. We'll do it within 30 days and confirm when it's done. A few things we may have to keep, like payment records that Stripe and tax law require. Your chats with the Gemini coach live in your own Google account, and you can delete them there anytime.
How long we keep it
We keep your check-in form data and your account and billing contact info while your membership is active and for 12 months after it ends, and then we delete it. The exception is billing records we have to keep for tax or legal reasons. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its own policy. You can ask us to delete your data anytime by emailing aroway.coach@gmail.com, and we'll do it within 30 days.
Security
We limit access to the people who run Aroway, and we rely on the security of Google, Stripe, Netlify and Kit. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't share anything you aren't comfortable sharing.
Age
Aroway is for adults 18 and older.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and let members know by email.
